Location Milton Vermont

1. Bachelor's in Electrical ngineering.
2. Experience in electrical resistive heating, temperature sensing equipment, testing, evaluating and commercializing new technologies.
3. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, control systems and mechanical components.
4. Experience with injection molding products, tools, standards and technology.
5. Experience leading projects.
6. In the region now (around 300 miles from Milton VT) or a strong reason to go there.
7. Courses completed in thermal heat transfer preferred.
8. 5 or more years electrical experience in a related industry preferred.
9. Documented innovation (patents, publications etc.) preferred

Company is one of the world's leading suppliers of injection molding equipment to the plastics' industry. Manufacturing operations are located in Canada, the United States and Europe, with a global, company-owned service and sales network. They have an immediate opening for a Sr. Electrical Engineer. This team is responsible for the ongoing innovation in design, development, and delivery of injection molds to their global client base. The successful applicant will help develop and support electrical heating and sensing products. This includes product design, technology development and validation of new products in a lab environment and supporting product issues in the field.

. Compile and maintain product definition . Convert product definition into concept design with no guidance
. Contribute to the formulation and/or evaluation of business cases for specific projects
. Complete concept level design with no supervision and drive innovation in system level design
. Create design standards . Actively contribute to product definition review process
. Mentor engineers in the area of primary expertise and lead in the development of engineering talent
. Represent company at conferences and through technical publications
. Provides support during the preparation of details, configuration of product template and bill of materials
. Provides support in checking details, assembles and BOMs for assigned projects
. Maintains thorough documentation for all aspects of assigned projects
. May participate in or lead continuous improvement activities

Qualifications:
. Skilled in calculating design parameters.
. Experience in electrical resistive heating, temperature sensing equipment, testing, evaluating and commercializing new technologies.
. Advanced user in modeling and detailing techniques
. Strong project, organization and time management skills
. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation
. Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems with innovative solutions
. Embrace changing priorities
. Knowledge of injection mold products, tools, standards and technology
. Decision making ability
. Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
. Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, control systems and mechanical components of the machine
. Proven experience leading projects is required Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with courses completed in thermal heat transfer preferred
. 5 or more years electrical experience in a related industry preferred.
. 2 - 3 years of system and concept level design.

. Documented innovation (patents, publications etc.)
. Post graduate studies preferred but not required.
