DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technician installs, dismantles and reconstructs CCTV, Card access, Fire Alarms, and PC based equipment and other related alarm equipment as required. Interprets electrical drawings, technical bulletins and architectural plans. Coordinates operating and training instructions to customers as it applies to operational procedures and care of equipment. Carries out preventative maintenance, inspections, and other duties as required.
COMPENSATION
Compensation is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour and piece work based on types of jobs performed.
QUALIFICATIONS/KEY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify you must have excellent customer service skills and previous experience as an alarm technician, or have held a position with similar related duties which should be in the field of Card Access, Closed Circuit TV and Intercom. We will consider a high school graduate with 5 to 7 years of experience; community college with 3 years experience; or an equivalent through work experience, special courses and self-development. Additionally you must posses excellent communication skills, a valid drivers licence, be bondable and be able to pass a Police clearance.
