Qualifications
• Professional registration along with a minimum Bachelor's Degree.
• Five or more years of progressive experience in all phases of architecture including: general drafting, design, land planning, field supervision; a variety of project type experience; production budgeting; construction budgeting; personnel supervision; project coordination with clients and consultants; and public relations work.
• General knowledge of all disciplines.
• Demonstrated independence, maturity, and soundness of judgment in making decisions. Must be able to relate to clients in a mature, thoughtful, professional, and pleasant manner.
• Demonstrated marketing skills including developing leads, developing and maintaining contacts in the field, coveting current projects into follow-up projects, bringing in new work, writing proposals, participating in proposal presentations, and negotiating contracts.
• Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated management skills such as personnel supervision, managing internal cost constraints, identifying improved business processes.
With potential to be a principal, needs to have good Business Development skills as well as being able to take a strong leadership role - 10 to 15 years experience in the industry in Canada, preferably Alberta
