We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join the Accounting team.
Position Responsibilities:
• Assist our Corporate Controller in various areas of the accounting and finance function.
• Participation in the review and finalization of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the monitoring of the corporate insurance program to increase coverage, effectiveness and ease of administration while working to minimize premiums.
• Active participation in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Calculation of commissions for employees on variable compensation plans.
• Collection and analysis of financial information for specific decisions.
• Participation in special projects as assigned.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
• Intermediate / Advanced MS-Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze and summarize data effectively and in a timely manner.
• Ability to work with moderate supervision and has excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Near completion or completion of a recognized accounting program or a university/college degree in a related discipline.
• Ability to work with moderate supervision and keep others informed as required.
