| Short Order Cook EDM-08-172 |

Under supervision of the Kitchen and Bar Supervisor, the Short Order Cook takes orders, and prepares, cooks and serves food in accordance with menus. He/she plans weekly grocery needs within approved budget and prepares grocery and supply list. He/she assists in planning of annual budget, maintains records of all cash and credit slip transactions and maintains daily cash float.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma AND some years experience in food service or a related field.
OR
- An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience will also be considered.
Knowledge Requirements
- Of food preparation
- Of food safety practices
- Of budget practices
- Of health and safety practices
Experience Requirements
- In providing customer service
- In commercial food service
