Job Description
Dealer Support: Review dealer concerns & work with company personnel or vendors, as needed; provide technical & service support for the dealers as needed; report regional activities, both fiscal and operational on a timely basis; Schedule dealer activities, i.e., regular dealer calls, open houses, trainings, etc.
Training: Attend trainings as needed, regionally and in Omaha; assist in training dealer personnel, both regionally and in Omaha.
Communications: Interact w/service, product and sale personnel to support dealer activities; Interact with field personnel and Omaha Support staff to provide support; provide support for dealers via emails, visits and phone calls as needed.
Warranty Support: Review and monitor dealer warranty activities at the request of the warranty group and assist with warranty and service letters as they affect products retailed by the dealers.
Special Projects: Assist with special harvest issues and other projects as needed.
Technical Support: Review dealer concerns with products and assist in resolving them, start, troubleshoot, or repair machines; Provide in-field feedback regarding product performance and reliability.
Position reports to Division Service Manager.
Knowledge & Skills
Ag background, preferably with Ag Machinery Experience.
Undergraduate Degree, technical or Ag-related degree preferred.
Knowledge of combines, forage harvesters, balers & hay tools a plus.
Previous service, and/or territory management & Willing to travel extensively.
Ability to perform needed work related tasks via computer, phone, etc.
Ability to work independently and interact with dealers, customers and other company personnel
Strong communication and training skills, written and vocal. |
