JOB SUMMARY:
The Branch Manager is accountable for creating and implementing a successful marketing strategy to meet/exceed sales/profit targets and for developing an effective staff to assist in achieving the branchs financial/operational targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales/Business Development:
Develop and implement an effective marketing strategy to increase sales and maximize profits by
evaluating potential of client base, developing new accounts and increase revenue of existing accounts through telemarketing and outside sales activities
Maintain communication with established clients to ensure successful business development
and to promote client and employee retention through exemplary customer service
Develop and implement an effective recruiting strategy to ensure the availability of qualified
flexible/full time employees in order to meet current and anticipated needs
Work with integration teams to develop cross business opportunities
Operational/Financial Management
Communicate and coordinate the various aspects of branch operations required to ensure compliance (Workers Compensation, ESA, Human Rights, OHSA, etc.)
Financial management of branch operations (budgeting, forecasting, monthly P&L review, credit and collections, etc.)
Implement, monitor and comply with company programs/ initiatives
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all branch activities
Participate in local professional, business and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition
Staff Management
Develop effective recruiting strategies to identify qualified candidates for internal staff positions
Develop a fully operational and qualified staff by hiring and training employees according to established company guidelines
Identify developmental/career opportunities to ensure staff retention
Coach and counsel associates on behavioral and performance issues, document and take corrective action as necessary
Conduct annual staff performance reviews
Conduct regular staff meetings
EDUCATION:
University Degree or College Diploma and/ or 5 years of equivalent business experience
EXPERIENCE:
(MUST BE FULLY BILINGUAL)
Minimum of four years related business experience with strong emphasis on sales and supervision. Staffing Industry experience preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to analyze profit/loss statements and other related financial data to make sound business decisions
Strong leadership, managerial, organizational and communication skills
Ability to perform business development and external sales activities
Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change
Computer literacy
Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary
