They presently have an opening for a Staffing Specialist for their fast paced, progressive and fun team environment, West End branch office.

Responsible for the candidate recruitment and service delivery, inspecting and monitoring the services and the service delivery processes, as per company Quality System, Operations Procedures and Quality Plans.
Sales & Service
• Increase sales within existing client base through proactive activities such as client visits/facility tours, skill-marketing, and by delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
• Securing of new accounts through networking and cold calling as well as assisting sales personnel with required follow up activity
• Interview, test, reference and refer qualified candidates for consideration for permanent hire by clients
• Orientation of applicants regarding the qualifications required duties and responsibilities, general working environment and company culture, promotion potential and benefits offered for each position referred
• Negotiating details of placement with both clients and applicant to ensure mutual understanding before acceptance by both parties
• Develop and implement a recruiting strategy to ensure an inventory of qualified warehouse, light industrial candidates
• Perform research utilizing directories, mail lists, telemarketing, cold calling etc. to formulate a target list of qualified prospects
• Work with Branch/Sales Manager to coordinate sales approach for strategic and/or contractual clients
• Creatively maintain and develop accounts to increase gross margin dollars
• Increase sales of services by staying on top of and aware of customers’ changing requirements
• Act as a liaison between and clients to assist in the solving of billing and service problems.
• Maintain a record of all client sales activities and follow-up requirements in the business system
• Assist in the development and maintenance of brand name awareness through advertising and public relations activities
• Utilize promotional materials and direct mail pieces to introduce and increase knowledge of services in the local market
• Assist the Branch Manager in identifying and developing local opportunities for increased exposure for the company(clubs, job fairs, trade shows, exhibitions, local sports and educational activities)
• Represent company as a member of personnel associations, civic organizations and community businesses to expand name recognition and business contacts
• Develop and maintain a basic knowledge of company operations
• Develop an awareness of local competitor, economic changes, industry trends and client relocations

The ideal candidate will have be resilient, able to manage a busy and fast pace. Will have the ability to learn and grow in a fast paced environment. Face to face visits with clients, be sales ‘savvy’ and a team player.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in outside or inside sales and/or telemarketing in a high-pressure environment with many competitors
• Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales quotas
• Strong sense of urgency and responsibility
• Able to set priorities and scheduling daily activities
• Minimum high school graduate or equivalency
• Experience in interviewing and hiring
• Proven track record evidenced by increased responsibility and promotions
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
